bit.ly Feng shui, literally translated from the Chinese, means “wind, water” and traditionally symbolizes the space between heaven and earth the environment where we live. The philosophy recognizes that house and garden should work together relative to life, health, wealth and happiness. In Hong Kong, the capital of feng shui, the ancient knowledge survived the Cultural Revolution that swept over Mainland China during the 60s and 70s. This film looks at the roots of feng shui with masters demonstrating how the ancient Chinese science is still deeply rooted in the everyday lives of people living here. To them feng shui is much more than simply a new trend in interior design. The influence feng shui has on their lifestyle and the mentality of Hong Kong people is told through comical, unusual and everyday stories. For example, you will see an apartment building, in the Aberdeen quarter, that has 400 square meter hole in the front, so that the “mountain dragon” still has a view of the ocean. We will observe well-known feng shui at work. This spans from the lot selection, the positioning and the conception of the house, straight down to details about the interior design. They offer their expertise on the best positioning for the front door, the suitable color of the walls and floors, right up to the positioning of a desk. We are introduced, step-by-step, to the terms and categories of feng shui. On our excursion through Hong Kong, we visit the Wong Tai Sin monastery, which …

    Thank you for saying that. There is a different breed of Christian out there known as Mystics, and they are known for deep levels of meditation.

    For me, meditation doesn’t have much to do with religion at all.
    I’m only 13 years old, but I have awful anxiety attacks often, to the extent where it makes me sick to my stomach, according to my counselor i used to speak to, i have way more stress than the average 13 yr old girl and i needed to learn a way to ease out of it sometimes because it was effecting my health..i found a way :)

    I do not say I read it or somebody said that to me.But every time when I preach about meditation, the majority Buddhist says it is only in Buddhism. But I agree with you.

    @1959520 I dont get what you are saying because I dont read the bible. I practice meditation as a buddhist. But Ive never claimed that meditation is only for Buddhists. Where did you read that? o who told you that?

    I really do not understand why some people believe or think that meditation is only belonging to Buddhism and Hinduism. The Bible mentions the word “meditation” many times. But biblical meditation means thinking, deep thinking, contemplating. The prophets and the messengers of God received visions and revelations while they are in their deep meditation. I do meditate for this kind of music which is perfect. But not as a Buddhist.
